North Georgia Football Association

The North Georgia Football Association (NGFA) existed from the 1939 until the reorganization of GHSA members into regions in 1947.

The South Georgia Football Association had formed a committee in 1937 to assist North Georgia schools in forming the conference for the purpose of playing a Class B state championship game between their respective conference champions.
