Ed Lawson of Cuthbert scored in the second quarter and the South led 7-0 at halftime. West Point star back Ray “Atom” Anderson cut the margin to 7-6 in the third. Joe Ben “Zip-Along” Cassedy from Statesboro added the final touchdown for the South in the fourth.
